Draum om hausten (Russland)

Ein mann og ei kvinne møtest tilsynelatande tilfeldig på ein gravplass. Dei kjenner kvarandre frå før, og har alltid vore tiltrekt av kvarandre. Åra går nesten umerkeleg. Han forlet kone og barn, mistar kontakten med foreldra og sonen sin. Kanskje fordi han ville. Kanskje fordi det berre blei slik. Alt har skjedd, og ingenting har skjedd. Alt er ein leik, og alt er eit alvor.
I tolkinga til regissør Jurij Butusov blir tilskodarane førde inn i ei mørk, sirkusinspirert draumeverd. Butusov gjekk ut frå Det Statlege Teaterakademiet i St. Petersburg i 1996, og blei lagt merke til allereie for avgangsframsyninga si, Vente på Godot av Samuel Beckett. Sidan har Butusov vore ei stadig stigande stjerne på den russiske teaterhimmelen, og han har opparbeidd seg ry som ein rock´n roll-regissør som komponerer sterke sceniske bilde, gjerne kombinert med klassisk tekst og nesten alltid med rockemusikk.
Her i Noreg har Butusov gjesta Hålogaland Teater to gonger, i 2005 (Brotsverk og straff) og i 2007 (Romeo og Julie). For tida jobbar Butusov på Vakhtangov-teateret i Moskva.
Framsyninga hadde premiere på Lensovjet-teateret i St. Petersburg.

Guest performance from The Lensoviet Theatre
A man and a woman appear to meet by chance in a graveyard. They already know each other and have always been attracted to each other. The years pass by almost imperceptibly. He left his wife and children, loses contact with his parents and his son. Possibly because he wanted to. Possibly because that is simply how it was. Everything has happened, and nothing has happened. Everything is a game, and everything is serious.
In this interpretation presented by Director Yury Butusov, the audience is drawn into a dark dream world inspired by the circus. Butusov left the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts in St. Petersburg in 1996, but by then he had already gained recognition for his graduation presentation of Waiting for Godot, by Samuel Beckett. Since then Butusov has continued to be a rising star in Russian theatre circles and he has built up a reputation as a rock and roll director who composes strong visual images on the stage, often combined with classical works and almost always involving rock music.
Here in Norway Butusov has guested the Hålogaland Theatre on two occasions, once in 2005 (Crime and Punishment) and once in 2007 (Romeo and Juliet). Butusov is currently working for the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow.
This production had its premiere at the Lensoviet Theatre in St. Petersburg.
